This true plug and play device has a built-in RAID 0 configuration that allows for instant high-speed data transfers of up to 85MB/s and immediate large-scale backup. It’s hot-pluggable for file sharing among FireWire 800/400 and iLink/DV computers. No drivers or software installation is required for Mac OS X, Windows XP or Windows 2000, so set-up is quick and easy.

The LaCie Bigger Disk Extreme can be daisy-chained, which is ideal for mirroring (RAID 1) two Bigger Disks for greater data redundancy and security. You can even stripe (RAID 0) for faster speeds.
